Mr. Osei Tutu Agyeman-Duah is the Director, ECOWAS Community Computer Centre. Born on August 23rd 1957 in his native Ghana, Agyeman-Duah is an expert in Information Communications Technology (ICT) Management
He holds two masters degrees- in Finance from the Webster University, Missouri, United States (US) and in Information Security from the University of London; apart from having Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Ghana, Accra.
In helping to reposition ECOWAS for the challenges ahead, he is charged with translating our business goals into strategic organisational ICT policies, plans, programs and projects. He also Plans human resources and corresponding capacity building needs to respond to IT challenges an supervising staff of the Directorate in the process.
As a capacity development, project management and consulting expert, Agyeman-Duah manages policy and standards harmonisation of ICT equipment and software for ECOWAS Institutions and Agencies.
Among the other basic functions of the Director, CCC are the provision of direct technical guidance on programme design and implementation in addition to leading the development of the Commission’s Wide Area Network (WAN) as well as it’s Local Area Network (LAN) designs and their implementation plans.
In meeting the organisations’s aspirations, Mr. Agyeman-Duah is charged with representing ECOWAS in ICT professional, Experts and Ministerial meetings, Strengthening relationships and technical cooperation with peer technical experts and decision makers and other sister international organisations as well as negotiating agreements and MOUs between the Commission and Service providers including international organisations.
