ECOWAS ICT expert meeting to validate, amongst others, two draft supplementary acts
We concluded today, September 19th, 2017 in Abuja, a two days ECOWAS ICT expert meeting to validate, amongst others, two draft supplementary acts that will have a direct impact on the lives of ECOWAS Citizens: the Supplementary act on Free Regional Roaming and the Revised Supplementary Act on Universal Service Fund. The meeting was opened and closed by the ECOWAS Commissioner for Telecoms and IT, Dr. Isaias Barreto da Rosa.
With these two instruments, telecommunications services in West Africa will be closer to our citizens and at more affordable prices…
