7th Technical Committee Meeting on the Computerization of ECOWAS institutions
The ECOWAS Commissioner for Telecoms and IT, Dr. Isaias Barreto da Rosa, opened yesterday, January 15th, v2018 in Abuja, the 7th Technical Committee Meeting on the Computerization of ECOWAS institutions. This one-week meeting assembles together representatives of ICT departments/units from all ECOWAS institutions and agencies to discuss and address the development and harmonization of the ICT environment in this regional organization.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Barreto da Rosa emphasized the need of adopting a results-oriented approach in managing the ICT infrastructure, services and projects of the community so that ICT can fully contribute to the success of the community institutions.
The meeting will be concluded on the 19th January.
